Wharton's Lauder Institute Launches New MBA Track with a Global Focus

Wharton's Joseph H. Lauder Institute of Management and International Studies has recently announced plans to launch a new MBA track that aims to prepare future global leaders to solve complex business problems in an increasingly interconnected world. The program is designed for those who speak a second language, and want to be able to understand the linguistic and cultural challenges in conducting business in that language. The program is 24 months long and includes a summer of study. Graduates of the program will come away with an MBA from Wharton as well as an MA which, according to a Wharton press release, is "focused on the study of international economics, comparative politics, diplomacy, international law, and cross-cultural negotiations and communications." The inaugural class begins in May 2013. For more information, please see the Wharton press release.
